Fatality Rate in almajalG4S Saudi Arabia Reduced to Zero G4S Group CEO Presents Appreciation Certificate to QSHE Director

Ashley Almanza, G4S Group CEO, presented a certificate of appreciation to Abdullah Hamidaddin, Director of Quality, Safety, Health & Environment (QSHE) almajalG4S Saudi Arabia in recognition of his accomplishments. 

The certificate was in recognition of Abdullah and his team's accomplishments and health and safety initiatives which have contributed to reducing the fatality rate of the Saudi Arabia business to zero in the year 2013. 

The team managed to achieve nil accidents, especially those associated with vehicles, by applying the following action points:

1- Continuous awareness training and education for direct staff

2- Applying Drivers' Train-the-Trainer programme

3- Integrating and implementing the G4S Driving Force pilot programme

4- Installing a vehicle speed curb system for all CIT/ATM vehicles

5- Internal Health & Safety audits on regions and applying required action for improvement

6- Critical Country Review external audit action attendance

7- Visual awareness via posters in multiple languages

8- Efforts of HSE Committee and regional representatives in pursuing relevant action for correction  

Khalid Baghdadi, almajalG4S Saudi Arabia Managing Director said, "Work related accidents are a matter we take seriously at almajalG4S. It is our role as the management of G4S to ensure that the safest working environment is provided to our employees."
